Spf.io empowers the IEA Global Conference 2021 to deliver multidirectional simultaneous closed captioning in English, Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese and Korean, to their international audience across the globe.
SEATTLE - July 15, 2021 - PRLog -- Spf.io and the International Enneagram Association announced plans for a long term partnership to expand IEA's global impact through real-time translation and accessibility. Spf.io is the leading-choice for event translation. IEA's Insights and Languages Chair, Talia Guerrero González, remarked, "Spf.io has been a strategic partner for IEA to remove language barriers, unleashing a gift within our community. We are making history!"
History is indeed being made at this year's IEA Global Conference where spf.io is being used to provide translated closed captions for more than 85 live and on-demand presenters and sessions. Live sessions are captioned in more than twenty language pairs using spf.io's auto captioner which integrates both AI translation and professional captioners. Presentations will also be recorded and made available as on-demand sessions with closed captions with a turnaround of less than two hours.
Spf.io's support team is working around the clock, in cooperation with IEA's event staff, to prepare more than 40 pre-recorded videos. Dozens of IEA volunteers utilize spf.io's Audio/Video Caption and Subtitling feature to ensure that the captions are accurate and ready to go for their three-day event spanning nearly 40 hours.
IEA Conference Co-Chair, Tamer Zanaty, complimented the work of the spf.io team: "Amazing work, I really would like to thank each and every member of this amazing team, you are the BEST."
As hybrid events become more popular, spf.io allows for powerful integrations between in-person events and streaming platforms such as vFairs, Vimeo, StreamYard, and Zoom. Spf.io enables organizations to grow the international audience achieved during the pandemic. Kim-Fu Lim, a co-founder of spf.io, explained: "IEA charted a bold vision of reaching across the globe. I am amazed to see the leadership's grit to deliver on this. English is no longer required to access IEA events, and closed captions are equally beneficial to those experiencing hearing loss."
Sandy Hatmaker, the Association Administrator for the organization, commented: "We are beyond excited to deliver the IEA Conference in 5 languages for the first time ever! This would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of the spf.io team. They have guided us through all aspects of this project, providing ideas, suggestions and solutions to fit with our conference platform. The spf.io team is clearly dedicated to our success."
Kim-Fu says that he is "grateful to be a part of this journey towards making events more accessible."
