“The 8-Week Challenge is a core aspect of the BFT experience that ties directly back to our overall progressive programming approach,” said Duncan Cork, President of BFT. “The challenge has the power to produce true transformations and we are excited to see more inspiring results across our expanding studio network as we continue to launch in new markets.”
The BFT 8-Week Challenge, a comprehensive training and nutritional program, is designed to help members reach their fitness goals through 50-minute group strength training classes led by highly accredited coaches, personalized meal plans and recipes, and regular coach consultations to keep participants on track throughout the challenge. Female winner, Amanda Louchart, 56, once the child picked on in gym class, never envisioned an athletic future for herself until she discovered BFT. She decreased her body fat percentage by an impressive 27%, from 29.9% to 21.7% and feels the best she ever has.
“I just feel better for my age. Seven to eight years ago, my joints were stiffening, I was losing my grip, my feet hurt and I simply did not feel well. I felt depressed that I was feeling my age. Now that I feel better physically, I am encouraged to do things I was once afraid to try,” said Louchart. “I saw a true physical transformation. I’ll be competing again in June.”
The male winner of February’s 8-Week Challenge also achieved remarkable results. Puls, 52, saw a 47% body fat percentage decrease from 9.5% to 5% and credits the 8-Week Challenge for his extraordinary transformation. “Beginning a fitness journey is never easy, but the emphasis on the power of commitment and hard work at BFT makes it possible,” said Puls. “The positive, group environment in the studio fosters strong bonds and a sense of community, giving members a sense of family that cannot be found at a typical big box gym.”
With 33 studios participating nationwide, fitness enthusiasts can easily find a BFT family to join. For a registration fee of $99, the 8-Week Challenge includes Evolt 360 body composition scans; coach consultations to keep you on track to reach your goals; eight weeks of meal plans and recipes; weekly nutrition and training emails and blogs; biweekly mini-challenges; and a chance to win studio prizes. Members across all studios can enroll and track classes completed and progress in the challenge in the BFT Performance app on iOS and Android.
