Trustifi;s Newly-Launched Email Security Awareness Module Wins 3 Industry Awards

Groundbreaking threat simulation capabilities have earned high praise, winning a Visionary Spotlight Award, a Product of the Year Award, and an AI Award

LAS VEGAS, NV / ACCESSWIRE / July 23, 2024 / Trustifi, the premier provider of AI-driven, next-generation email cybersecurity solutions, is proud to announce that its Email Security Awareness Training Module, launched in March of 2024, has won two awards from major IT supply channel media sources. The new module has won a Visionary Spotlight Award from ChannelVision magazine, a Product of the Year Award from MSP Today magazine, and an AI in Cybersecurity Innovation award from TMC (Technology Marketing Corporation). Each of these awards recognize the innovative capabilities of Trustifi's new embedded training module, which gives managed service providers and managed security service providers (MSPs and MSSPs) a more proactive approach to thwarting phishing attacks than use of cybersecurity filters alone.

An influx of threats has flooded the business market in the last year, due primarily to the increased ease and speed with which bad actors can now create convincing phishing emails and imposter attacks with the aid of generative AI malware. These dangerous tools make it exceedingly challenging for network users to discern imposter phishing emails from valid messages sent by their business partners. AI-based malware can ascertain what individual vendors a company frequently works with, and mimics the logos and formats of those trusted vendors. Phishing links then lead users to imposter sites where hackers harvest critical passwords and personal information.

In response to this, Trustifi quickly developed an integrated Email Security Awareness training module, which gives MSPs and administrators the ability to leverage the same powerful AI techniques to create similarly persuasive, yet simulated, phishing campaigns either across their organization or to select addresses or departments as a training strategy. Administrators using Trustifi's module can customize their threat simulation emails to emulate partners that their end-user employees work with on a regular basis-the same tactics that hackers use. Network users who fall prey to the mock attacks and click on the faux infected links are identified as needing greater email security awareness training.

Trustifi's module goes yet a step further. It allows administrators to then apply warning banners atop emails to users who "failed" the simulations, and are able to provide those victimized users with prefabricated training materials to help them better recognize the clever signs of a phishing attempt. These instructional materials and banners can be applied immediately. Administrators or MSPs also get detailed analytic reports on the results of each threat simulation campaign, to evaluate whether responses have improved over time and multiple test runs. The Email Security Awareness Module is incorporated into Trustifi's overall solution suite, differentiating Trustifi as a one-stop resource for network email cybersecurity.

The module was awarded a Channel Visionary Spotlight award for 2024 in the Business Technology category. The VSA competition received a record number of submissions this year, according to publisher ChannelVision magazine, with winners delivering "excellence and innovation." These awards were announced in June, and winners are acknowledged in a special supplement of ChannelVision magazine, downloadable here.

In addition, the module was named a Product of the Year by MSP Today, the channel-focused publication from global high-tech news site TMC.net. This honors the "best-of-the-best products, services and solutions sold to and through MSPs and the channel today," according to a statement by TMC. Companies recognized by this award "work with their channel partners to match these solutions with client needs - and deliver a first class customer experience," confirmed TMC CEO Rich Tehrani. The list of winners of the MSP Today Product of the Year Award can be found here.

And most recently, the Email Security Awareness training module earned a 2024 AI in Cyber Security Innovation Award, also from TMC, which is one of the high-tech industry's most prominent global media sites. The winning companies "demonstrated remarkable vision and technical excellence, providing vital tools to safeguard organizations and individuals from cyber threats," according to TMC's press release. The module was nominated due to its use of AI in providing customized threat simulation templates for IT executives. These sophisticated capabilities allow administrators to raise awareness of phishing techniques among its most vulnerable network users. Click here for a winners list.

"It's Trustifi's mission to provide the most agile solutions for our channel partners," said Rom Hendler, CEO and co-founder of Trustifi. "As a born-in-the-cloud, specialized company with a focus on SaaS-based email protection, we can be responsive enough to consistently adapt our solution set as the threat landscape transforms. The integration of our new Email Security Awareness module is an example of that rapid response to threat escalation. We're thrilled to see it receive such early acknowledgements from channel sources."

Trustifi was recognized in the 2023 Gartner Market Guide for Email Security* for its Outbound Shield, Inbound Shield, and Account Takeover Protection solutions. In addition to the above awards, Trustifi's products have repeatedly been acknowledged by esteemed sources such as CRN magazine, the American Business Association, the BIG Fortress Cybersecurity Awards, Expert Insights, the Cybersecurity Breakthrough Awards, SourceForge, and the Golden Bridge "Globee" Awards.
