New York - July 17, 2023 - BP Ventures, a leading fintech and blockchain consulting firm, announced today that it has won the Stellar Community Fund Award #14 for its LightEcho Oracle, an oracle utility developed for Stellar’s Soroban smart contract platform.
The Stellar Community Fund Award dates back to 2016, making it one of the oldest blockchain awards in the industry, and supports outstanding contributions to the Stellar and Soroban ecosystem.Winners are chosen with participation from the broader Stellar community, and share a cash prize of up to $150,000 worth of Lumens (XLM), the Stellar network’s native currency.
The LightEcho Oracle greatly makes it possible for Soroban smart contracts to access off-chain data, bringing a valuable piece of infrastructure to the Stellar community. LightEcho Oracle is expected to make life easier for Stellar developers and support Stellar’s growth as a low-friction, inclusive, global financial network.
