False Narratives of a failed author, Confederacy of Silence: A False Tale of the New Old South

GREENVILLE, Miss. - March 19, 2022 - PRLog -- Ron Jenkins questioned the book. Hattie Campbell questioned the book. Marvin Wilson didn't understand who Richard Rubin was writing about when asked in the alley behind the Greenwood Police Department. Lanardo Myrick was long gone from Greenwood, MS but the effects of a bad narrative lingered. The ill-fated book Confederacy of Silence made no sense to several relatives of the 2 young men that had endured the trial of there lives. It seem that many years later, the book filled of false claim, statements and narratives, goes unpunished. Lanardo Myrick and Handy Campbell were found not guilty. The book never told a story that made sense. Questions that should have been asked were pushed to the side like a bad piece of pie. The two that suffered and the one murdered go no justice from a book seeking some self serving desire to find a topic to make money from. Did the reader consider the impact of bad information on the young men? Reading a snippet about a friend that is quoted as saying that Lanardo Myrick was always around Handy. Just take that into account of two young black men in a government subsidised project that the young live in, went to same high school. In GREENWOOD, MS with a population of less that 25k that's segregated by a river and economics. What else could be farther from the truth Confederacy Of Silence. Author Ron Jenkins reviews false narratives that hurt many in the African American community. False narratives of a failed author should be libelous.

When people are having a tough time, or navigating bad changes, you can be guilty of assuming everyone is attacking our vulnerability. Many people may be, but most are living their normal lives, oblivious to others self-imposed suffering. Confederacy hurts. It's in these sensitive moments that we can translate what the author is attacking two African-American men for financial gain. Nothing in Confederacy of Silence, can be misinterpret as anything but an attack.
