LOS ANGELES - Aug. 28, 2024 - PRLog -- Orange County, CA – Speech Recovery Pathways (SRP), a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering stroke and brain injury survivors through communication support and community reintegration, is thrilled to announce its first annual Art Competition. This exciting event is designed to celebrate the creative talents of survivors and their supporters while raising funds to continue SRP's vital mission.

Event Details
The competition is open to entries in two categories: SURVIVORS and SUPPORTERS. Participants can submit two-dimensional artwork electronically to SRPArtComp@gmail.com by midnight on September 16, 2024. There is a $25 entry fee for the first artwork and $15 for each additional entry, with a limit of three entries per artist. Winners will be chosen from the finalists by an online public vote, which will take place from September 23-27, 2024.

Winning artwork will be featured on SRP's social media platforms, website, and ArtShops swag, showcasing the remarkable talents of our community. Additionally, sponsors of the event will be recognized on flyers, social media posts related to the competition, the SRP website, and on ArtShops swag along with the winning artworks. Sponsors will also be highlighted in SRP's "Let's Thank Our Sponsors" Instagram series.

Supporting a Meaningful Cause
All funds raised through entry fees, sponsorships, and swag sales will directly support SRP's programs, which provide essential resources such as aphasia support groups, memory and problem-solving groups, Parkinson's groups, caregiver support groups, partner training for couples, and yoga and fitness groups. SRP's mission is to offer ongoing communication practice, build confidence, and help survivors connect with others on their journey to recovery.
