iPupPee, the revolutionary new life alert button for dogs allowing them to communicate their needs to owners, is live on global platform Indiegogo following a successful crowdfunding raise on Kickstarter.
For anyone who has ever wished their dog could talk, the iPupPee is the ultimate pet parent tool and a dog's personal alert system. iPupPee gives dogs a voice and lets them communicate to their owners when they need to go out. The result is a groundbreaking new product that opens up the lines of communication between dog and owner.
“My chocolate lab Champ is the inspiration behind iPupPee. As he aged, I really needed a device that would allow me to check in on him and have him press a button to notify me when he needed me,” says founder and CEO Mark Condon. “Near the end, I didn't always know when he had to go the bathroom in time. I wanted a device where I could both check in on Champ whenever he wanted and also have Champ press a button to alert me when he needed to go out.”
The iPupPee is a dog’s personal smartphone. It features a large, paw-shaped button that dogs are able to easily press to call their owners. iPupPee features includes a wifi-connection which allows the device to activate either a video call with their owner or the 2-way speaker. With iPupPee's live video feed, users can also open the app anytime they want and check in on their pup without the dog needing to manually activate the device. In addition, iPupPee provides users with a comprehensive digital & video training manual by certified K9 dog trainer and dog psychologist, Brian Gagye, to successfully train their dog to use the button.
“People are either working on a different floor of their house, or away from their dogs for hours at a time. If you have a dog, you know how much you miss them when you’re not home. iPupPee allows you to check in on them constantly. If you’re not home, you can have a neighbor or dog walker come by to let your dog out when they push the button,” adds Condon. “More importantly, this is much needed in the service dog space. If a disabled person has an emergency, but no one is home to help them, their dog can press the button and notify their emergency contact that attention is needed right away.”

iPupPee is a family-owned and operated business with Mark and Andrea. iPupPee is here today because of Mark's chocolate lab, Champ. Champ gave Mark 14 years of an incredible life. As Champ aged, his back legs became weak. He didn't enjoy going downstairs to the home office with Mark every day anymore. Mark selfishly carried him up & down the stairs daily, but Champ didn't love it. Now that they weren't side by side, Mark didn't always know when Champ had to go the bathroom.
