The selection process begins when an attorney enters the candidate pool through a selection committee or a lawyer nomination. The next step is independent research on the U.S. Provisional Patent 63/338,526, where methods and systems to select distinct working professionals are based on verifiable objective criteria. The platform analyzes work, experience, and abilities depending on case results, reviews, honors/awards, educational background, special certifications, verdicts/settlements, community service, lectures/writings, and professional activities.
Once the platform generates the final score, the applicant undergoes a final background check and ethics review. Those with a minimum passing score and no disqualifying ethical violations within 10 years before completing the application are eligible for acceptance to Lawyers of Distinction.
