Women Warriors Summit returns for its second annual event on October 18, 2024 at the Marshall Health Network Arena. This year’s summit will focus on “the power of productivity,” encouraging attendees to learn techniques for mastering their agency in the workplace and at home. Founded by philanthropist and first lady of Marshall University Alys Smith, the Women Warriors Summit provides a platform for women across the Appalachian region to access developmental opportunities and forge meaningful connections that drive long-term success both professionally and personally.

The event will feature special guest and keynote speaker, country music superstar Trisha Yearwood. Trisha’s incredible journey from country music singer to bestselling author and successful entrepreneur has inspired women worldwide. At the Women Warrior Summit, attendees will learn more about her story and gain insights into her advice on perseverance, passion, and success in any path they choose.
