Live Well San Diego has selected Learn4Life High Schools to join its exclusive network of community partners as an education provider. Live Well San Diego is a vision for a region that is Building Better Health, Living Safely and Thriving, and unites organizations that understand how to work together to address the diverse needs of our youth.

San Diego County Board of Supervisors has issued a proclamation declaring February 29 as “Learn4Life Day” in San Diego County.

 

 

WHAT:

Luncheon celebrating 15 years of community partnerships supporting underserved San Diego County students. Hosted by Fox 5 Anchor Phil Blauer, the event will feature a panel discussion, Shared Community to Support Student Success, featuring Community Wraparound CEO Robert Ontiveros, Access Inc. CEO Kristie Buckley, National City Chamber Chairwoman Karen McManus, CoSD Department of Homeless Solutions & Equitable Communities Chief Regional Community Coordinator Belinda Slattebo and Learn4Life Area Superintendent Lindsay Reese.

 

 

Learn4Life students who have overcome adversity and devoted staff, along with local organizations such as Community Wraparound, Equus, Dalrada Career Institute, Southwestern Community College and more will be honored.

For 15 years, Learn4Life has served more than 25,000 San Diego area students and families through trauma resilient education and wraparound community support. Learn4Life’s personalized learning program offers flexible schedules, one-on-one support and job skills training, helping more than 6,000 students who might not otherwise have graduated earn a high school diploma.
