FHLBank Pittsburgh welcomes William C. Marsh as incoming FHLBank Pittsburgh Board Chair and is pleased to announce Louise Herrle was reelected as Board Vice Chair for another 2-year term. Mr. Marsh joined the Board of Directors in 2012 and Ms. Herrle joined in 2018.

Mr. Marsh is the Chairman of the Board, President and CEO of Emclaire Financial Corp. and its wholly owned subsidiary bank, The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton. He has held these positions since 2009. Mr. Marsh has served in several principal financial executive positions with publicly traded bank holding companies and community banks in Western Pennsylvania and Maryland. Mr. Marsh started in the financial services industry more than 30 years ago in Pittsburgh with KPMG Peat Marwick, an international public accounting and consulting firm.

Mr. Marsh is also a longtime member of the Pennsylvania Bankers Association and served as Chair for the 2014-2015 term. Mr. Marsh previously served on the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland’s Community Depository Institution Advisory Council and currently serves on the board of the Pennsylvania Association of Community Bankers and the American Bankers Association Community Bankers Council.

Ms. Herrle is a retired financial executive with more than 35 years’ experience in capital markets including global funding, risk management, derivatives and capital management. Ms. Herrle served in a variety of financial executive leadership roles, including Chief Investment Officer at Chrysler Financial LLC, Head of Corporate Finance and Treasurer at GMAC Residential Capital Corporation and Treasurer and Head of Global Debt Funding at Freddie Mac. Her most recent role was Managing Director, Capital Markets at Incapital, LLC.
