Justice Delayed? Dr. Meleeka Clary Presses for Answers in Court Fraud and Bank Fraud Case Against Attorney Michael Ghosh

CARMEL, IN / ACCESSWIRE / August 29, 2024 / Dr. Meleeka Clary, a passionate human rights advocate for justice, provides an update on the ongoing investigation into allegations of bank fraud and court fraud involving Attorney Michael Ghosh. This case, which has been under investigation by the Carmel Police Department since mid-June, remains unresolved, raising concerns about the speed and transparency of the process.

The charges against Attorney Michael Ghosh are severe, involving accusations of fraudulently using Dr. Clary's name to access bank accounts and falsely stating that her daughters, Cradeaja Clary and Meleesha Clary, were aliases for Dr. Clary. These fraudulent actions resulted in the freezing of the bank accounts of Dr. Clary and her family members, causing significant financial distress and emotional trauma. "This isn't just about a crime; it's about the violation of discretion, our constitutional rights, and civil rights, as well as the systemic failures that allowed it to happen," Dr. Clary stated.

Dr. Clary, who is both a victim and an advocate in this case, has expressed frustration over the lengthy duration of the investigation. "We initiated this investigation this year around June 13th, and it is now the end of August. The slow pace is concerning, especially given the gravity of the allegations involving unauthorized access to bank accounts and the submission of false statements," Dr. Clary stated.

Initially, the investigation was met with what Dr. Clary perceived as resistance and a lack of seriousness from the authorities. She recalls her interactions with a lieutenant from the Carmel Police Department who seemed dismissive of her concerns. Feeling marginalized as a Black woman, Dr. Clary took her case directly to the local government, speaking with Assistant Mayor Mary Jo, who facilitated further investigation by connecting her with Chief Drake Sterling, then Detective Tyler Brenner.

Detective Brennerwolf, who has been diligently working on the case despite being on military leave, has been a beacon of hope for Dr. Clary and the other victims. "Detective Brennerwolf has shown a genuine commitment to this case, assuring us that justice will be pursued despite the challenges," Dr. Clary remarked.

In her ongoing efforts to seek justice, Dr. Clary has also engaged with Chief Drake Sterling of the Carmel Police Department and Prosecutor Joshua Kruger. Both have reiterated their commitment to the case, promising thorough investigations and eventual justice. "Chief Sterling emphasized the importance of working together, not against each other, which resonates deeply with me. We need this unity to ensure justice is served," Dr. Clary added.

Despite these assurances, the victims continue to grapple with the emotional toll of the slow-moving investigation. "The victims have been psychologically impacted and are currently seeking counseling. The prolonged wait for justice only exacerbates the trauma we are experiencing," Dr. Clary shared.

Dr. Clary is calling for greater transparency and a more expedited approach to this investigation, urging the community to remain vigilant and supportive. She emphasizes that this is not just about race but about ensuring that all victims receive fair and just treatment. "We are hopeful for a positive outcome and trust that the Carmel Police Department will bring the perpetrators to justice," she concluded.

This is not Dr. Clary's first encounter with Attorney Michael Ghosh in the Hamilton County Courts; she has spent over 15 years exposing judicial corruption. Her experiences are also depicted in the film Three Corners of Deception, available on Amazon Prime Video, where she exposes the "good ol' boy" network and the abuse of judicial power.

Dr. Clary urges anyone with information related to this case to come forward. Community support and vigilance are crucial in ensuring that justice is served for all victims. The Carmel Police Department is committed to treating every case with the seriousness it deserves, regardless of race or background.
