K-Food Logo Awareness Campaign Successfully Concludes Under the Leadership of aT Center Los Angeles

Empowering U.S. Consumers to Recognize and Appreciate Korean Food Products Made in Korea

LOS ANGELES, CAPELLEN / ACCESSWIRE / November 26, 2024 / The aT Center Los Angeles branch, an affiliate of Korea's Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs, successfully concluded its K-Food Logo awareness initiative, which aimed to increase international consumers' recognition and understanding of Korean food products.

The K-Food Logo is a symbolic mark that helps global consumers easily identify authentic Korean food products. While it is not a certification of quality or safety, the logo effectively represents the dynamic image of Korean food through its design, which combines the "K" of KOREA with the Taeguk symbol. The three colors within the logo carry distinct meanings: red represents the spiciness and healthiness of iconic foods like kimchi and gochujang; green symbolizes fresh Korean agricultural products and the sustainable supply chain that supports their global reach; and blue reflects the trust and reliability associated with Korean food products.

To enhance the K-Food Logo's visibility, the aT Center Los Angeles collaborated with influencer Max Abrams, known as Max Not Beer, to release engaging content. Additionally, the team produced an animated series titled K-Food Logo Heroes, available on its YouTube channel, to provide American consumers with a fun and accessible way to understand the K-Food Logo and its significance.

On September 26, the aT Center LA team organized an informational booth at The University of Arizona, where they successfully introduced the K-Food Logo and its associated products to numerous participants. Attendees had the opportunity to engage with branded products and learn about the logo's importance in identifying authentic Korean food items.

The initiative also extended to digital platforms with the launch of a new feature within the K-Food Supporters App called Catch K-Food. This interactive game allowed users to familiarize themselves with the K-Food Logo while enjoying a fun and educational experience.

Through these diverse efforts, the K-Food Logo awareness campaign significantly contributed to helping American consumers correctly identify genuine Korean food products, further boosting recognition and trust in Korean food products in the U.S. market.
