DESCRIPTION:
On Oct. 12, Forbes published this year’s 2021 World’s Best Employers list. The Home Depot came in at #22 overall and #2 in the retail and wholesale category for North and South America.
The list highlights 750 companies that were selected based on independent surveys from roughly 150,000 workers across 58 countries. Workers were asked to anonymously evaluate their willingness to recommend an employer and detail their satisfaction when asked about different work-related statements.
Recognized for the third year in a row, The Home Depot has steadily increased its ranking each year since 2019.
“I’m so proud of our team for being named one of Forbes’ World’s Best Employers,” says Craig Menear, chairman and CEO. “Since the beginning, we’ve operated on the belief that if we take care of our associates, they’ll take care of our customers, and the rest will take care of itself. I want to thank our 500,000 associates for their incredible hard work and for the many ways they go above and beyond to serve our customers and each other every day.”
