On December 28, 2007, Merge Technologies Incorporated (the “Registrant”) issued a News Release containing information about its financial condition and results of operations. The Registrant announced that it has filed with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”): (a) its restated financial statements for the years ended December 31, 2006, 2005 and 2004 included in its Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2006, (b) its restated financial statements for the three months ended March 31, 2007 and 2006, included in its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the three months ended March 31, 2007, and (c) its financial statements for the quarterly period ended June 30, 2007, included in its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for such period.
