Set forth below is an e-mail sent on March 28, 2014 by Jerry Lynch, Senior Vice President of Sales of Forest Laboratories, Inc., to the employees of the U.S. sales force of Forest Laboratories, Inc.:
Good morning everyone,
We have received some questions about yesterdays Actavis + Forest Integration Update, specifically regarding the product portfolio graphic. Let me provide some perspective that may help address these questions.
The purpose of this graphic was not to show the full breadth of Forests and Actavis product portfolios, but rather to focus attention on the therapy areas that generate $1 billion or more in annual revenue. Of course, the full span of products for both companies extends well beyond these categories and includes Forests Cardiovascular, Cystic Fibrosis, Respiratory, and Anti-Infective product lines, in addition to key Actavis franchises such as Dermatology. Please be assured that these franchises are important to us today and will continue to be in the future. I encourage you to keep up the good work you are doing to bring our products to the customers and patients who need them.
Finish the week strong!
Jerry
