Item 8.01 Other Events.
On December 7, 2010, Albemarle Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the pricing of $350 million aggregate principal amount of the Company’s 4.50% Senior Notes due 2020 at an issue price of 99.101% to the public.
