Sonoro Gold Corp CEO Kenneth MacLeod joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company has released a mineral resource update for the Cerro Caliche gold project.
MacLeod tells Proactive the report reveals Cerro Caliche has Indicated Mineral Resources of 19.9 million tonnes with Inferred Mineral Resources of 10.5 Million tonnes.
He said the company feels the number only shows a small part of the story considering just 30% of the known mineralized zones on the project were included. Drilling was stopped because the team was confident they could define a mineable resource and get project financing in place for it, he added.
MacLeod also shared the company’s upcoming plans, including the receipt of environmental permitting.
