New Exciting Documentary Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow Released By Caught Busted News Media

By: Get News

Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow had a rags to riches story both rappers being sons of immigrants that overcame the violent streets of Flatbush Brooklyn to become millionaires before they reached the age of 21. The childhood friends and gang affiliated rappers became Brooklyn drill music pioneers achieving worldwide success. They appeared in Complex, Billboard and Rolling Stone magazine and owned their own music label Winners Circle distributed by RCA Records of Sony Music.

In 2017, Sheff G went viral on the Internet for No Suburban song, a diss to Brooklyn drill rapper 22GZ’s Suburban song. Sleepy Hallow achieved platinum success with his single Deep End and 2055. Their songs are on the Billboard charts, over 1 billion streams combined on Spotify, 100 million plus views on YouTube, multi-platinum and gold singles certified by the RIAA. With the fame and fortune came a decision to leave behind the streets or continue in the 8 Trey street gang that helped build their reputation and clout. Sheff G and Sleep Hallow did not leave behind the gang life and continued despite their music success said New York City Prosecutors.

The rappers caught the attention of the NYPD and New York City Mayor Eric Adams since 2019. New York City Mayor Eric Adams said about the indictments, “The actions of these 32 people put the lives of New Yorkers in danger — carrying out murder, assault, gun possession, and using stolen cars during shootings.

The biographical mini documentary shows the rise and fall and potential rise again of two of the leaders of the Brooklyn drill rap music. The documentary tells the story of Michael William (Sheff G) and Tegan Chamber (Sleepy Hallow) before the fame and their rise to being superstars becoming millionaires before the age of 21. The childhood friends became music stars and started their own music label Winners Circle distributed by RCA Records. Their songs are on the Billboard charts, over 1 billion streams combined on Spotify, 100 million plus views on YouTube, multi-platinum and gold singles certified by the RIAA. They overcame the odds while being linked to Crip gangs and became millionaires before the age of 21. They now battle for their freedom as the NYPD Gang Unit, the Brooklyn DA and New York City Mayor Eric Adam brought a 140 charge indictment which included murder, conspiracy and attempted murder and arrested them with 30 other men and women of the 8 Trey Gang and 9 Ways Gang. An indictment is merely an accusation and not proof of a defendant’s guilt.
