On January 7, 2008, Jeanne T. Prayther submitted her resignation as Chief Accounting Officer
of Levitt Corporation (the “Company”), effective on the day after the Company files its Annual
Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2007. It is anticipated that Patrick M.
Worsham, who, as previously disclosed, will serve as acting Chief Financial Officer of the Company,
will also serve as the Company’s principal accounting officer upon Ms. Prayther’s departure.
