Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.
On April 30, 2009, Northfield Laboratories Inc. issued a press release announcing that it had
received a complete response letter from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration pertaining to the
Biologics License Application for its PolyHeme product.
