On June 24, 2005, Fluor Corporation issued a press release entitled “Fluor Receives Baseless Jury Verdict” (the “Press Release”) relating to an unfavorable and unexpected jury verdict against its wholly-owned subsidiary Fluor Daniel Caribbean, Inc.
