EGM NOTIFICATION
Cordiant announces that it posted a circular to its shareholders on 28 June 2003
concerning the proposed acquisition of Cordiant by WPP Group plc by way of a
scheme of arrangement. An extraordinary general meeting to consider the proposed
transaction will be held on 23 July 2003.
