On
January 27, 2010, Scot H. Parnell, the Chief Financial Officer of The
Student Loan Corporation (the Company) since February 2008, announced his
intention to resign from his position in order to accept an opportunity
outside of the Company. His resignation as Chief Financial Officer will be
effective February 12, 2010.

On
January 28, 2010, the Company appointed Joseph P. Guage, 41, to the
position of interim Chief Financial Officer effective February 12,
2010. Mr. Guage has been the Company’s Controller and Chief
Accounting Officer since August 2007. From May 2006 to August 2007, he
held the position of Assistant Controller with primary responsibility for
Corporate Reporting and Accounting Policy. Prior to joining The Student
Loan Corporation, Mr. Guage spent six years at the Eastman Kodak Company
where he held various financial and controllership
positions.
