STAR BULK ANNOUNCES DATE FOR THE RELEASE OF SECOND QUARTER AND FIRST HALF 2012 FINANCIAL RESULTS, CONFERENCE CALL AND WEBCAST



ATHENS, GREECE, July 25, 2012- Star Bulk Carriers Corp. (the "Company" or "Star Bulk") (NASDAQ: SBLK), announced today that it will release its results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2012 before the market opens in New York on Wednesday, August 29th, 2012. Star Bulk's management team will host a conference call to discuss the Company's financial results on the same day, Wednesday, August 29th, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).
