In response to questions received on recent quarterly investor calls, Spark Networks, Inc. (the “Company”) reports that it closed on May 14, 2010 the sale of the real property it had acquired in a sheriff’s sale in partial satisfaction of the Company’s outstanding judgments against Will Knedlik. Based upon the net proceeds of the transaction, the Company realized a total gain of $1.56 million, with substantially all of the gain being recognized in 2009.
