Explanatory Note
This Current Report on Form 8-K/A amends and supplements the Current
Report on Form 8-K filed May 8, 2003, by American Mortgage Acceptance Company
("AMAC"). Such May 8, 2003 Current Report is incorporated herein by reference.
This Current Report on Form 8-K/A is being filed solely to change the
Item number pursuant to which the information contained in Item 5 of the May 8,
2003 Current Report was filed. The information was incorrectly filed under Item
5 rather than Item 9. Item number 5 is hereby deleted in its entirety and
replaced with the following Item 9:
Item 9. Regulation FD Disclosure
On May 7, 2003, American Mortgage Acceptance Company released a press
release announcing its financial results for its first quarter ended March 31,
2003. That press release is attached to this Current Report on Form 8-K as
Exhibit 99.1.
