Item 5.02                                        Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

 

On December 3, 2018, Jean H. Gilles, Senior Vice President John Deere Power Systems, Worldwide Parts Services, Advanced Technology & Engineering, and Global Supply Management & Logistics, announced his intention to retire from Deere & Company (the “Company”) effective January 11, 2019. Mr. Gilles joined the Company in 1980 and has served as Senior Vice President since 2001.

 

Mr. Gilles’ responsibilities will be assumed by other members of the Company’s senior leadership team.
