    (b) On January 14, 2008, J. Per Brodin, Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, gave notice of his intent to resign from the Company to pursue another professional opportunity.  Mr. Brodin will remain with Centene through early February 2008.  Eric R. Slusser, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will assume the role of principal accounting officer.
